Joint Committee Commends AUDA-NEPAD Nigeria, Pledges Support for Improved Funding

Abuja, Nigeria – The African Union Development Agency-New Partnership for Africa’s Development (AUDA-NEPAD) Nigeria, led by its new National Coordinator and CEO, Hon. Jabiru Salisu Abdullahi, presented the 2024 budget performance report and the proposed 2025 budget to the Joint Committee on Cooperation and Integration in Africa and NEPAD at the National Assembly.
During the session, Hon. Abdullahi outlined the agency’s 2024 achievements, including Nigeria’s leadership in the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), and emphasized the need for increased funding to scale up these successes and achieve the agency’s full potential in alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
